A beautiful jacket from our "be the change you want to see in this world" collection, made from unique, antique kantha textiles.
Kantha (meaning "patched cloth") refers to both the tradition of producing these quilted textiles and the running stitch itself, a craft from Bengal. For generations, Bengali women took discarded cloth scraps and sewed them together, turning something old into something useful and protective.
Over time, kantha became a generational skill, a craft passed down with story and well-wishing woven into every stitch, often made as wedding gifts.
We're proud to use these textiles in our slow fashion collection, warm and light, with big pockets and an oversized cut with a touch of elastic at the hips for the best fit in Small to Medium. Different prints inside and out.
