There is a particular shade of turquoise you only really understand once you have seen it against Ibiza water at midday, and it is the one we chose for the Martha Kaftan.
Cut from soft, breathable cotton, Martha falls in long vertical stripes traced with hand-embroidered floral motifs, each one stitched by hand so no two kaftans are ever quite identical. The fabric is light enough to catch a sea breeze and forgiving enough to wear all day, from breakfast on the terrace to the walk home after sunset.
The cut is loose and easy, skimming rather than clinging, with a deep V-neckline and roomy pockets you will actually use. Slip it on over a swimsuit, dress it up with sandals for a late dinner by the port, or simply wear it as it is and let the embroidery do the talking.
Made in small batches by artisans who still work by hand, Martha carries the quiet, unhurried spirit of Aurobelle Ibiza.
