Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds, was built with hundreds of small windows so the breeze could move through without anyone having to be seen from outside. This dress takes its name for the same reason — it's made to let the air through on the hottest days.
Artisans in India hand block print each length of muslin cotton in turquoise and emerald florals, one panel at a time, so the print never lands the same way twice. The cut is easy: a soft V-neckline, flared sleeves, a waist tie you can pull close or leave loose, shell buttons down the front and pockets deep enough to skip the bag.
At 130cm, it skims the ankle — good for a market morning or a walk along the old town walls as the heat climbs.
