Long before it was a coat, this kantha textile was someone's inheritance — hand-stitched in East Bengal, passed from mother to daughter, worn soft as a blanket through countless winters. Cloth like this isn't made anymore, not really; what exists now is what's left.
We've shaped it into an oversized, easy coat, fully reversible so that turning it inside out reveals an entirely different pattern — a second garment hiding inside the first. The hand-quilting gives it real substance without any real weight.
Throw it over anything when the evening turns, or let it be the whole outfit on days that call for a little more presence.
